We get to go through all these hormonal rollercoasters.
Just between the two (or three, or four) of us, I probably put myself through more loop-di-loops than any other girl in this world.
Maybe its the fact that I'm days away from riding the crimson waves (tmi) or perhaps its that I've spent 2/3 of this beautiful day lying on my bedroom floor watching "Country Strong" and "My Best Friends Wedding."
Now, if you've never seen either of these flicks, I suggest you get right on it. Especially if you are craving some alone time with every girls favorite companion, chocolate.
They are both depressing. Two different types though so the rollercoaster of hormones remains interesting. The first, "Country Strong", is the sad, heart-wrenching type that ends in tragedy (with a sliver of happiness at the end). The second, "My Best Friends Wedding," is the "i-would-just-die-if-this-happened-to-me" slash "i-know-how-it-feels-to-watch-my-best-friend-fall-in-love-with-someone-else" type that leaves you....with that TERRIBLE lump in your throat. You know, the one that formed while you tried not to burst into "the ugly cry."
On the bright side I came out on top with two very lovely songs. Rachael for the win.
Give into Me
The Way You Look Tonight
You bet your bottom dollar I'm going to put both these songs on my brothers wedding playlist.
