How To Be Happy--The Five Step Series

Step number one: listen to happy music.

If you are anything like me, music is everywhere. I cannot do one solitary thing without wanting to blast the stereo or turn the volume up on my computer. But, if you are also like me, music can have a very powerful hold over your emotions. For example, if I'm feeling sad & lonely, I listen to only those songs that provoke those feelings further. So change it up a bit. Listen to happy music. I'll give you three.

Hearts Content: It's not one of those in-your-face happy songs, its just sort of a....dancing-in-the-kitchen-with-your-broom type.

What I Wouldn't Do: Everybody (at least once in their life) has cried to the song "Almost Lover" by the Fine Frenzy. Well, those days have come and gone, my dear. If you still like the band, well then by all means, this is the song to play.

Dancin' In The Moonlight: This is the one that gets you going. Have a dance party. Or have a late night on the town with your friends. Stick your stupid hand out the window and play with the wind.

Coincidently, I swear I didn't do this on purpose, but all of these songs are from a Nicholas Sparks book that turned into a movie. So what this message is actually telling you is that Nicholas Sparks movies are guaranteed to make you happy. Unless its like...tragic. In which case, you're only allowed to watch The Lucky One. hah.
